A near-even gender split suggests leadership and management RPL is broadly relevant across the workforce. Rather than being a niche product for one demographic, the data indicates that both men and women are choosing formal recognition of leadership capability at similar rates which aligns well with the idea that leadership develops through experience across many industries and job types.
For employers, this supports RPL as an inclusive recognition mechanism: it can be offered fairly across cohorts and programs as a credible pathway to formalise capability.
For employees, it reinforces that RPL is not “for a particular type of person” it’s for experienced professionals who can demonstrate competence through evidence of real work.
