Module 2: Self-Awareness - Identifying Your Own Emotions
Before you can lead others, you need to understand yourself. Self-awareness, the ability to recognise and accurately name your own emotions in real time, is the cornerstone of emotional intelligence. It sounds simple, but most of us move through our days reacting to situations without ever pausing to examine what we are actually feeling or why. In this module, you will learn to identify your emotional triggers, build a more precise emotional vocabulary, and understand the very real ways your internal state shapes your decisions and behaviour.
